The ATL is a space for networking, learning, and mutual support. Our purpose is to join with like-minded people to initiate and sustain ongoing communication and education that enhances our transformational leadership capabilities. We stand for connection, collaboration, learning, networking, freedom, community, growth, and mutual support.
The hallmark of an ATL member, or a nominee for membership, is that they are grounded in the basic aspects of self-development and have the intention to approach both life and work from an open and loving-heart space. This intention is evident in their results. When these attributes are present and integrated, there is a coherence which is palpable. This coherence creates the context in which our nominating members and Membership Committee can trust their highest intuition, and inner wisdom of the heart, that a candidate is one of us. This presence is grounded in workability and love and constitutes a calling of the kind of person we seek, and the kind of group in which we thrive.
Criteria for membership in ATL Australia:
1) A member is committed to their own personal development and transformation.
2) A member has the intention to approach both life and work from an open and loving-hearted space.
3) A member is a high-functioning individual that has been identified by their peers as having a history of facilitating transformation in their fields.
4) A member is an individual who is interested in up-levelling their work and life by associating with other transformational leaders.
5) A member is an individual of influence in artistic, academic, social, corporate and/or humanitarian endeavours.
6) A member includes fun and play as part of their transformational work.
7) A member understands that ATLA is a place to connect, not to sell.
8) A member is "low maintenance" and "checks their ego" at the door.
9) A member demonstrates integrity in all areas of their lives, including how they perceive and handle conflict.
10) A member is willing to engage in mutual support with other members of the group by sharing their skills, talents, and magic with their fellow transformational leaders.
Embodying the Spirit of ATL™ Australia
ATL™ has become a cherished community. Many now describe it as a "family" where members feel seen, supported, and safe. This has happened because our members:
.
We recognise these principles as our shared intention—not a measure of perfection. The more we move from "me to we," the stronger our community becomes.
About Your Membership
We currently have 11 members and allow each existing member to nominate one new member per year. Not all proposed nominees are invited to join. Our membership will close once we reach 120 members. If, after attending an event, you are invited to join as a full member, you will have one year to accept. Membership offers not accepted within this timeframe will expire. To be re-invited you must be proposed again by the person who originally proposed you and since members may only propose one new member per year, it is possible you won't be given another opportunity to join.
To join, you must attend one of the next three in person meetings: August 23, 2025, Feb 28, 2026, or August 15, 2026. Upon attending and being invited to proceed, you'll be sent a Stripe invoice for the $295 dues and you will have 30 days to complete payment. Once your membership is confirmed, you’ll be added to our member directory and may bring a committed significant other as your guest* (with a guest ticket) to any event, whether in person or virtual. *Please note that the ability to bring a guest is limited to full members.
Future meetings are listed on the EVENTS tab of our website. We invite you to attend, participate fully, connect authentically, enjoy our speakers, and embrace the spirit of ATL™.
New Member Process - The Steps:
- Member proposes a person they think would be a good fit for ATL Australia
- Steering Council and/or Membership Council reviews all submissions and makes a selection
- Members are informed if the person they proposed has been accepted for nomination and are asked to notify that person
- Steering Council reaches out to the nominee to ask if they are interested in accepting the nomination
- Invitations to attend the next in-person event are extended to those that accept the nomination
- The nominee attends an in-person event
- Assuming it's a fit, the nominee is invited to join ATLA as a full member, pays, gets added to the website
